Every stay at Overlook Park & Marina puts you on the same lake. What changes is how you wake up, how you cook, and how much you pack. Here is an honest look at each option so you can choose.
Cabins A through E
The five cabins sit on the bluff and look out over the lake and the sunsets. They were built in 1969, and they are cozy and wood-paneled, not fancy. Think of a well-kept, honest place to land.
- Sleeps: up to six.
- Beds: two queen beds.
- Kitchen and bath: a kitchenette (mini fridge and hot plate) and one bathroom. Cabin E has a full kitchen, with a full-size fridge, stove and oven.
- Included: linens, dishes, towels, and a coffee maker. An extra linen set is $20.
- Wi-Fi: available in cabins.
- Rate: from $120 a night. Starting January 8, 2027, Fridays and Saturdays are $150. Holiday weekends are $175.
A cabin suits you if you want a kitchenette and a real bed, if you are traveling with kids, or if you would rather not tow or tent. It is also easy on the way in: bring food, clothes, and a cooler.
RV sites
Our RV sites sit under shade oaks on level grass, with gravel roads through the park.
- 30-amp: $40 a night. Electric and water.
- 50-amp: $50 a night. Electric and water.
- Full Hookup: $65 a night. Electric, water, and sewer.
- Dump station: on site, and dump tanks only there.
An RV suits you if you already own one, if you want your own bed and kitchen, or if you plan to stay longer. Our RV sites page has more. Standard sites do not have sewer, so plan your tanks. The park map shows how the sites are laid out.
Tent sites
- Electric and water: $35 a night.
- Primitive: $30 a night.
Tents suit you if you like to camp simply and keep costs low. Bring your own gear and chairs. Firewood is $6.50 a bundle at the marina store.

How to decide
Start with who is coming. A family with young kids often likes a cabin: beds, a bathroom, and a fridge. Anglers and boaters often camp in an RV near the marina. Couples and groups mix both. If you are unsure, call (979) 289-2321 and tell us about your trip. We would rather you pick the right stay.
