Where It Started
Lake Somerville has been drawing people to its shores for decades. Families who return every summer. Anglers who know exactly where to drop a line. Couples who found their favorite weekend escape. Overlook Park & Marina sat at the center of all of it — a place where people showed up and stayed a little longer than they planned.
The infrastructure aged. The amenities fell behind. But the lake never changed. The open water, the quiet mornings, the way the light hits at golden hour — that’s still here. And so is the community that never stopped coming back.
The New Chapter
Under new ownership, we’re investing in what this place deserves. That means better cabins — properly equipped, properly comfortable. A marina that actually functions as a full-service operation. Sites that make RV camping easy, not just possible. Spaces that respect the landscape and the people who come to enjoy it.
We’re not trying to turn Overlook into something it’s not. We’re making it more of what it already is: a low-key, high-quality basecamp for people who want to spend real time on the water.
What We Believe
Outdoor recreation doesn’t have to mean roughing it. Comfort and nature aren’t opposites. A well-maintained facility makes the experience better — it gets out of the way and lets the lake do the work.
We believe in honest hospitality. In showing up when something needs fixing. In making it easy to book, easy to arrive, and easy to come back. In being the kind of place people recommend without being asked.
